First Birthday Party

Kaelyn's party was on Saturday and we had a TON of fun! She just loved being the center of attention. She knew it was all for her! (I wonder where she gets that from?!?) I had so much fun planning it and can't believe its over! Here are some of my favorite pictures of her special day!

Birthday Celebrations

Yay!! The birthday celebration has begun! Last Friday, Kaelyn and I went to Peek-a-Boo Playtown with our friends Ashley and Aubrey. They girls had a blast playing in the kitchen, the tool shop, & climbing up the rock wall. We topped the afternoon off with lunch at McDougal's. I think Kaelyn would say she had a blast!!

Then we went as a family to eat at Sopapilla's, can I say yum!!! The chicken fajitas, guacamole, & the sopapillas were fabulous!! Kaelyn got many bday wishes!! We are super excited for her party on this Saturday. She is going to LOVE her birthday cake! Check back for pictures!

The Pankakes are Back in Business!!!

So, yes I know, I'm not so good as this blogging thing! I tried multiple times posting a blog and I would just get overwhelmed that I didn't have anything spectacular to say. Now, I've come to realize it doesn't have to be some amazingly eloquent blog, yet just an update. Kaelyn is now 1 year...I know 1 year! I can't believe that a year ago last Friday our sweet little girl was born. She has been such a blessing to us and to many others. She has a smile that will just something melt your heart! We feel so blessed that God chose us to be her parents. With all that said, enjoy some pictures of the last couple of months to catch you up!! Enjoy:)

It's the small things in life that make me smile!! Kaelyn found her feet on Sunday and has been sucking her toes every since! Wow! It is all going so fast! I was warned but didn't believe it!

Good Friends, Good Times

We love our friends the Winklers! We met them in Chicago long before Dave and I were even married! They have seen us through a lot! They come down south to visit us in Tennessee every year:) We always have a blast! This year was particulary fun since Kaelyn got to join in on the fun! She met her future husband, Eli. He calls her KK. We think it is pretty cute! She loved watching him run circles around her! Sara is a special kind of friend! We can go weeks or even months without talking but pick up right where we left off! I am very thankful for her!!! We miss them but hope to see them this summer!!

Snow Days

Kaelyn has had a very snowy first winter! Not only did it snow in Texas twice when we were there for Christmas, but it has snows many times in Tennessee. We finally took Kaelyn out to at least look at the snow. I think just thought it was very bright!

Yay! Kaelyn rolled over!!! Whohoo!! She is getting so big! Here is the video...she is not quite sure what happened! She now loves rolling over but seems to always get stuck. I can't wait until she rolls all over the floor, or can I!

New beginnings

So we caved. It is offical. We have a blog. Now the only reason we went to the other side was to write about our little Kaelyn. She is 4 months old already!! She is growing so much that we would love to share it with you! Check back often to see pictures and watch videos! Enjoy!
